I wasn't expecting much for a $20 knife, but considering it's ideal for a plastic throw away knife its perfect. Thou the pocket clip did brake while putting none slip tape on it. Not a bad investment.

I have been buying genuine balisong knives manufactured in the Philippines since the 1980s. There is a degree of authenticity in the craftsmanship that the slicker mainstream balisong knives have never managed to replicate. This is a marvelous knife. It is true to the traditional methods of manufacture, while being a modern interpretation of a very old design. The little cap-lifter in the blade is adorable, as well as functional. This is a large, hefty knife and delightful. Like all authentic balisongs, it does require a "break in" period, as it does not immediately perform like a ball-bearing balisong.
Couldn't ask for a better knife at this price. No blade wobble, super sharp and when this thing snaps open it gets attention!

Great knife for the price and even for a bigger price for that matter. Knife wasn’t super sharp out of the box but sharpened right up. The Damascus is beautiful and really makes the knife a conversation piece.
